BIOGRAPHY

My name is Rob Bolt and I am a Creative Designer and Illustrator based in South Manchester and I currently work Freelance.

Some of my works are available to buy as Tshirts, Prints, Canvases etc on my Online Store.

Design is my hobby as well as my profession. If I’m not working on client projects I am working on my own artwork in my spare time.

I have worked in several different areas of the Design Industry, starting out in the mid 90’s as a Trainee 3D Artist in the Computer game Industry at Ocean Software. After becoming disillusioned with the 3D graphics world, I entered into Print based graphics, working at various High Street Printers such as Prontaprint where I was responsible for designing all the print work that came into the shop, from the initial design to setting up for print. From here I decided to broaden my design horizons and work Freelance as this enabled me to be more creative and selective with design projects.

I have worked on several different aspects of the creative field from graphic design and websites to clothing and skateboards. My client base is very varied which represents the versatility of my skills in the design field.

My (design) weapons of choice are Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and the good old fashioned pen & paper!

I have always looked to push my design skills, and am always learning new styles and tricks everyday, always looking to create original concepts and ideas. I am always on the look out for new clients and collaborations with fellow artists, so please get in touch if you would like to work with me.
